Teri, who is part of our sales team, recently had an amazing tour through New Zealand's South Island. Starting in Christchurch, she and her travelling companions visited the International Antartic Centre, judged New Zealand's best attraction offers an interactive experience of the Great White South. You can also experience traveling cross terrain in the amazing Hagglund all terrain vehicle.
They journeyed over the Southern Alps to the west coast town of Greymouth where they did Worm Cave Rafting - floating through the glow worm caves, see beautiful cave formations and the white knuckle rock hydroslide...if you dare!

Here is an interesting website to help you plan your adventure vacation in New Zealand.
Not far from Greymouth you can experience a half day on Franz Joseph Glacier. It is a spectacular and rewarding trip.

At the Hukawai Indoor Glacier center you can go Ice climbing in the Southern Hemisphere. Not many people can say they have done that.

Horse Treks can be found beside the Rangitata River at Peel Forest. A one hour trek will take you down along the Rangitata River and if the weather is right and you feel like taking your horse for a swim, there is a great swimming hole. The horses are suitable for all riders, from learners pony through the forest and up the side of Mt Peel where you can take in the views of Mid and South Canterbury and out to sea. Teri is trying to keep her feet dry in this photo.

In Akaro cuise the harbour, swim with the tiny Hector dolphins, eat the local fish and chips or have tea and scones in the 5th generation sheep farms after viewing the sheep dogs in action and sheep shearing. With a French heritage in this area, you are going to find wonderful foods and wines.
Around Christchurch and the Canterbury region you can also engage in whale watching in Kaikoura, archery, fly fishing (some of the best in the world!) and heaps more.
Thanks for sharing these great photos Teri!
